James, sorry about the shingles, but I'm glad you liked my article. Nearly all of the jokes apply to guys in their 60s. Maybe I should add that. 70s too. It just gets worse and worse each decade!
I think this is a perfect post for your demographic! Men need to laugh more! And, as for your "vision" I definitely think men, when they reach a certain age, need guidance. Many of my friends whose husbands are retired hate the fact that the qualities that made their husbands successful in the work world—such as managing teams or employees—are being used with a heavy hand at home. Yup, you guessed it. Micro-managing.
thank you for the laugh. I enjoyed it very much.
LOVE IT... at 66...I've used "some" of these lines... but I'm always adding to my "routine" for the grandkids!
Dad jokes? Count me in lol
Hah. Glad you liked that one but don’t encourage me!
PLS DO CONTINUE lol

You're welcome, Alma.
You probably KNOW a man over 50, or will someday.
Thanks for reading and taking the time to comment.
Wow

Thanks, JR. Timely for me.
I was wondering today if that post was too flippant for what I am trying to do helping men over 50 find their vision.
I think we can see more clearly if we laugh at ourselves.
I'm not a man. I'm not over 50.
But I enjoyed reading this.
Thanks for sharing, Mark!
Thanks, Alma. I was concerned it might come across as too lightweight but the response has been good.
Ever heard this one: "You know … after 50 all the warranties run out" :)

That’s a new one for me. Thanks.
